What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

The best thing to me about sports is the bond I create with my teammates and coaches , I’ve been playing with the same group of guys since my freshman year entering my junior year I see some if not most of them as my brothers, not just my peers but my coaches aswell they have my back throughout any situation and will stand with me right or wrong. I can text any of them at any time or for any convenience and I’m confident they will be there for my support if needed

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

The person who inspires me the most has to be my parents, my mom passed away when I was 8 years old she will never get to watch a game in the stands and i keep that thought throughout everything I do. Losing a parent at such a young age affected my attitude and actions , football is a huge help for me with releasing any anger or frustration. Secondly would be my dad he is the hardest working person I know providing not just for my family, but constant helping others in need.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One moment that makes me the proudest in my journey is being elected captain by my team with the most votes. Ever since i started football I’ve always tried to push myself to my limits whether it’s extra workouts, late night training, or even just watching film I’ve tried to push my team members to do the same with me , even outside the field I’ve maintained a gpa of 3.5. academics can be seen an afterthought in football but prioritizing STUDENT - player i believe give me the best chance to play
