What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Competitive cheer challenges me to work hard, push myself, and be part of a team that feels like family. I love the excitement of learning new skills, performing on the floor, &celebrating our accomplishments together. I also love sideline cheer because I get to bring energy & school spirit to games while supporting my team & our athletes. Whether I’m competing or cheering from the sidelines, I love the confidence, friendships, teamwork, and memories that cheerleading gives me.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Gabby Butler inspires me because she shows me that cheer is about more than just winning. I love how passionate and hardworking she is, and how she always supports her teammates. She makes me want to keep working hard, even when something is difficult. As someone who does both competitive and sideline cheer, I look up to her because she shows how special cheer can be. She inspires me to believe in myself, have fun, and never give up on my dreams.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment I was most proud of was when my prep team scored a 98 at a competition (and got 1st place becoming US Finalist Champs 2026) after working so hard together. Seeing all of our practices, mistakes, and challenges come together on the mat made me realize how much I had grown—not just as a cheerleader, but as a teammate. I was proud knowing I gave everything I had and helped my team succeed.
