What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

I love playing soccer because I love being a goalie. Being a goalie makes me feel like I have an important job on my team. I might not score the goals, but I get to defend our goal and help stop the other team from scoring I love the excitement of seeing the other team coming toward me and knowing I have to do everything I can to stop the ball. Making a big save feels awesome, especially when I know I helped my team. I love the challenge, the excitement, that’s why I am a goal keeper.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Brittney Wilson inspires me because she is a great goalkeeper. I love watching her play and seeing the amazing saves she makes. She inspires me to keep practicing, work hard, and become a better goalie. One of my biggest dreams is to one day be on the same field as her. Ronaldo also inspires me because of his mindset and how hard he works to be the best he can be. He never gives up and always believes in himself. IHe is an amazing soccer player.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

My proudest moment as a parent isn’t just one save or one big win. It’s watching my daughter’s determination to become a better goalkeeper every single day. Win or lose, she always walks off the field thinking about what she can do better next time. What makes me the most proud is her courage and strength. Being a goalie isn’t easy because when a goal gets past you, you have to find a way to put it behind you and be ready for the next shot. I have watched her do exactly that.
