What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What my son loves most about playing football is the feeling of being part of something bigger than himself. He loves the competition, the teamwork, and the challenge of pushing himself to be better every time he steps on the field. As his mom, I'm most proud of the determination, discipline, and respect he brings with him. He works hard, never gives up, and still manages to be the funny kid who keeps everyone smiling.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

On the field, he is inspired by his coaches, teammates, and athletes who have worked their way to the top through dedication. Off the field, his biggest inspiration is his family. We encourage him to believe in himself, make good choices, treat people with respect. As his mom, I’m proud to see him take those lessons with him wherever he goes. He may still be young, but he understands that the people who inspire you can help shape the person you become.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of the moments that has made me most proud of my son was watching him win championship games and then being named MVP. Seeing him stand there knowing how much time, effort, dedication, and determination he had put into getting to that moment was incredibly emotional for me. I was proud of the wins, but even more proud of the journey it took to get there. Watching my son work hard, overcome challenges, believe in himself and to see all the hard work rewarded was a moment I will never forget.
