I love volleyball and basketball because they have taught me the importance of leadership, teamwork, and encouraging others to do their best. These sports have helped me become a stronger leader by showing me that success comes from working together, communicating, and supporting my teammates.
My mom and my brothers inspire me on and off the court by always pushing me to reach my full potential and never giving up on my goals. They encourage me to be myself, work hard and believe in my abilities, which motivates me to become a better athlete and person everyday.
The moment that made me the proudest in volleyball was when my team became the first team in school’s history to make it out of area tournament and finish in second place. Accomplishing that together showed how hard work, determination, and, teamwork can make history.
