Off the field, Jesus. He truly tried to live his life knowing he’s doing the best he’s able to, all while living a life of purpose. On the field, his dad and fellow teammates, his dad coaches, and he’s always learning… from everyone. Also, his trainer Bruno Vargas, he has had some major career goals, and accomplishments, as has his brother, and Jace really looks up to that.
Truthfully, if a child goes down on the field, Jace is the first one to stop and make sure they’re ok. One instance that stands out to me is when a child from the opposing team, kicked an own goal, Jace ran up to him and gave him a hug as the boy began to cry, and told him “it’s okay, I’ve been there myself, nothing hurt, you’ve got this.” Gave him a high five and went back to playing. He always tried to lift others up.
