What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What my player loves most about playing sports is the competition, the challenge, and the feeling of getting better every time he steps on the field. He loves being part of a team, making memories with his teammates, and pushing himself to see what he is capable of. Most of all, he loves the excitement of the game, the big moments, the hard work, and knowing that every practice and every game is an opportunity to improve, compete, and have fun doing what he loves.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My player is inspired by his dad and grandpa because we both played baseball and understand the hard work, dedication, and commitment it takes to be successful in the game. Having us share our experiences, teach him the fundamentals, and encourage him through both the good and tough moments gives him something special to look up to. He wants to follow in our footsteps as a college athlete. Every time he steps on the field, he knows he is out there to make us proud.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of the moments that made me the most proud of my athlete was when he threw his first no hitter at the 10U level. From the first pitch to the final out, he showed incredible focus, confidence, and determination. Every inning he stayed locked in, trusting his teammates and executing each pitch with composure. Watching him achieve something so special at such a young age was unforgettable, not just because of the accomplishment itself, but how he praised his team for having his back.
