What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

“What I love most about playing my sports is the people and the lessons. Every season I get to meet new teammates and coaches, and building those relationships means a lot to me. But beyond that, sports teach me things I’ll use my whole life — hard work, discipline, how to handle failure, and how to stay a good teammate whether we’re winning or losing. Those lessons go way beyond the field.”

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

“First and foremost, God. My faith is the foundation for everything I do, on and off the field. Philippians 4:13 says I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, and I hold onto that in every game, every setback, and every workout. Staying strong in my faith gives me the confidence to push through adversity and the peace to handle both winning and losing the right way.”

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

“Two years ago, a coach told Jace he wasn’t good enough to make the team. Instead of sulking or blaming anyone, he simply asked, ‘Can I earn a spot?’ He showed up every day and outworked the doubt. By midseason he’d earned his place, and by season’s end he was leading the team in batting. That’s the moment I’m most proud of — not the stats, but the character behind them: turning rejection into fuel at just 12 years old.”
