This summer, Jack had the opportunity to play in the North Carolina State Championship game with his 8U All-Star baseball team. Everyone played their hearts out, but they lost by one run in the last play of the game. It was heartbreaking, but Jack kept his head high. He took a deep breath, took off his gear, and was the first one ready in line to shake hands with the other team. Jack’s sportsmanship and positive attitude are what make me the most proud. Especially at only 7 years old!
