After battling back from an ACL injury, he never gave up. He worked, fought, and stayed focused on getting back stronger for the team.
Thank you for supporting Jack in this competition. Your participation made a huge impact for the Why Not You Foundation and their mission to empower change in the world, one individual at a time and one child at a time.
What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreFootball is more than just a sport to him. He loves the competition, the brotherhood with his teammates, and the feeling of working toward something bigger than himself. Every practice and game pushes him to become stronger, smarter, and more disciplined. Most of all, He loves being able to compete, make plays, and represent his team.
Jacks biggest inspiration is his family. We have supported him through the highest moments and the hardest ones, especially during his ACL injury and recovery. We taught him to never quit when things get difficult. His teammates and coaches also inspire him because they remind him every day why he loves football and motivate him to keep working towards his goals.
The moment I’m most proud of is Jack coming back from his ACL injury. Being forced away from the sport he loves was one of the hardest things he’s faced. Instead of giving up, he stayed committed to his recovery, worked through the difficult days, and kept pushing himself to get stronger. His comeback showed himself that setbacks don’t define him. How he responds to them does.
