What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Jack loves being part of a team and competing at the highest level. He thrives on the energy of the huddle, pushing himself against tough competition, and celebrating wins together with his teammates. Whether it’s flag football or hockey, he’s happiest when everyone’s working toward the same goal.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Jack is a Philadelphia Eagles fan, who is inspired by Jalen Hurts and Cooper DeJean. He loves how athletic and versatile Cooper is, and how good he is at his position. Watching Dejean play motivates Jack to work on his own athleticism and be a well-rounded player who can do it all. Jack is inspired by how hard Jalen Hurts works at all aspects of his game. From the weight room, to the field, Hurts acts as a leader who inspires and motivates his teammates. Jack tries to emulate this work ethic.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Winning the UA Cup in TO earlier this year. The morning began cold and damp. Players were complaining that they couldn’t feel their hands and were struggling to catch the ball. Jack never complained and never lost confidence in his teammates. Jack’s team played amazing, and he had a tournament for the ages — throwing a touchdown to every single player on offence while not throwing a single interception. It was a true team effort, and watching him lead that way made me incredibly proud.
