What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreJack loves everything that goes into being an athlete. The competition, the comradeship with teammates, and the work that goes into gaining success. He enjoys workouts just as much as the games, and just loves sports whether it is playing or watching on TV at home.
Jack is constantly on the lookout for other young talents on social media who are taking their game to the next level. He also admires players from the past like David Wright of the New York Mets for their skill and work ethic.
This summer Jack was pitching in a tournament in Florida when the skies opened up and there was a lighting delay. The weather went on for some six hours before the game was restarted in a totally different location. Jack took the ball even though the coach offered him the chance to pitch by next day instead. He had a great outing and led the team to victory. He also bounced back in the fall to play football after a a painful ear surgery that kept him out for weeks.
