He is inspired when he hits a new max and feels the hard work paying off. He loves when he gets about out from teammates and coaches - keeps him going.
I’m most proud when I see him coaching the local Special Olympics students. He’s so big and strong but so gentle and caring and kind in those moments. He is so patient. In grade school he won “student with the most grace, “ “wittiest,” and “heart of gold.” Those traits have only grown and strengthened. And nothing could make me prouder. He’s a friend to all. And a protector.
