He loves being part of a team, pushing himself to improve, and celebrating the success of his teammates. Most of all, he loves using the talents God has given him and giving his best every time he steps on the field or court.
Jacob is inspired by his Mom, family, coaches, and teammates who encourage him to work hard and never give up. His faith in God inspires him most because it reminds him to stay humble, grateful, and grounded. He wants to honor God through his attitude, effort, and the way he treats others.
I’m proudest when I watch Jacob encourage his teammates, even when things aren’t going his way. Seeing him choose teamwork over recognition reminds me that athletics is helping shape him into a strong, humble young man. Watching him give his best across football, soccer, and volleyball while keeping his faith at the center makes me incredibly proud.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
