What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreHe loves the physical contact of the sport. He loves practicing tackle and running fast. He’s always been an athlete since he was a baby. I can’t even count how many footballs he has at home that we use just to practice on a daily basis. He also loves the community. Getting to know his teammates and them working together is very inspiring to him. He really loves EVERYTHING! The pain, the grit, the bruises, and most importantly the wins.
His coaches and his parents inspire him on the team. His coaches are really supportive and believes in him a lot. The team also inspires him. The fact that they can come together and set a goal to achieve, he loves the interaction they have.
My proudest moment was when he got his first touchdown! I was so excited and proud to be his mom. He conditioned and practiced hard all year and I was happy to see the hard work pay off.
