What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Jacob loves competing, challenging himself, and seeing how much he can improve. Whether he’s on the football field or running track, he enjoys getting faster, stronger, and building his endurance. He loves the excitement of game day, being part of a team, and knowing that the extra work he puts in outside of practice helps him perform at his best. Most of all, he loves setting goals and pushing himself to reach them.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Jacob is inspired by his family and the athletes who prove that success comes from discipline, hard work, and never giving up. His family motivates him to always give his best, while watching successful athletes reminds him that talent alone isn’t enough. He wants to make his family proud, become the best version of himself, and one day inspire other young athletes to work just as hard for their dreams.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of my proudest moments is seeing Jacob choose to put in extra work without being told. After team practices, he’ll still go outside to run sprints for speed or run blocks to build endurance. At only 12, he understands that becoming a great athlete takes discipline when no one is watching. Seeing his determination, consistency, and drive to become better makes me incredibly proud.
