His step dad Austin. Jadyn battled with ectopic atrial tachycardia when he was 4 and was restricted as a child to physical activity including school recess. His step dad encouraged him when he was mildly released to try baseball which lead to more recovery and more sports including football and wrestling. Austin gave him hope and introduced the passion of sports with Jadyn. He is currently one of his high school coaches to this day. They developed an unbreakable bond this way.
When he won state champion for the 215lb weight class his junior year, he achieved his personal goal. He practiced, listened to his coaches, and believed in himself to take the win. I love that individually his hard work paid off and he could see the results clear as day that he deserved that moment in time. We had so many friends and family come to support him because we all believed in him. He’s worth the title of athlete of the year.
