Jahir has always looked up to Kobe Bryant. He’s inspired by Kobe’s relentless work ethic and “Mamba Mentality”.The belief that consistent hard work creates the best version of yourself. That mindset has motivated Jahir to stay disciplined, embrace challenges, and always strive to improve both on and off the court.
Watching Jahir help lead his team to the State and National Championships in 7th grade, then returning to the State Championship in 8th grade, makes me incredibly proud. What stands out even more is how much he has grown as a young man. He’s become humble, driven, and a natural leader who leads by example. He works hard, stays coachable, excels academically, and puts his team before himself. His character is his greatest achievement.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
