What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What I love most about wrestling is the one-on-one aspect of the sport. I know when I step onto the mat, I have to rely on myself my preparation, determination, and hard work. Wrestling teaches me the value of discipline, perseverance, and accountability, also helps me with confidence and resilience. The lessons I have learned through wrestling are more than what I have accomplished on the mat it has made me into a stronger, more disciplined person for life in general

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My brother Andrew inspires me in wrestling and in life. He is a Division 1 wrestler he has always worked hard and earned everything he has accomplished pushing through injuries and obstacles He has taught me how to adapt overcome anything and never give up. Off the mat he is an amazing brother who always has my back especailly the mental side when I need encouragement a push to reach my potential, or a little kick in the butt when I need it. I wouldnt be the wrestler I am today without him.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of the proudest is his Freshman year, he won his second state title. He probably had no business on the wrestling mat he was incredibly sick not only did he fight through some tough matches to end up winning the state title in overtime against a kid who had previously beaten him, he should have been resting in between matches but he was in the corner of his little brother supporting him even though he wrestled for another team at that time. It wasnt just about him winning it was about family
