What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

He is challenged every day to be both his best individually and collectively as a team. Every day in the gym he looks forward to perfecting the skills he’s learned while pushing himself to upgrade difficulty to compete at the world level.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

His peers and coaches inspire him. Most of his coaches are former Olympic athletes and many of his peers are grinding every day to make Olympic trials and their hard work inspires him every day to strive for the same level of accomplishment.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The one moment in his Athletic Journey was most recently when Jake made the Junior National Team to represent the United States of America. Jake moved from New York to Florida to train at an elite level and his goal was to make the National team. This year he accomplished that goal and he proved to himself that hard work pays off!
