His dedication shows because he practices every day, even during the summer. Basketball gives him a chance to work hard, push himself, and do what he loves most—play the game he enjoys.
Jamarious is inspired by his family, coaches, and the basketball players he looks up to. His family motivates him to keep working hard and never give up, while his coaches push him to become a better player and teammate. He is also inspired by great basketball players who show him what dedication, discipline, and hard work can accomplish.
The moment that makes me proudest is seeing Jamarious continue to practice and work on his basketball skills every day, even when no one is watching. He doesn’t wait for someone to push him—he pushes himself. Watching his dedication, discipline, and determination grow has shown me that he truly loves the game and is committed to becoming the best athlete he can be.
