What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreHe loves using teamwork and likes how sports teach responsibility, multi tasking as he plays several sports and teaches him discipline. He also likes how he is able to make new friends. He hopes to play in college as well. Every practice, every game, every win, and every setback pushes him to work harder and become a better athlete and person. Hes loves the excitement of playing in front of family, friends, and anyone who is there to cheer him on.
His brother inspires him off the field because he played sports also, and he teaches James how to play sports and teaches him what he got taught in high school sports. His coaches inspire him also to keep playing and doing the best he can at all sports.
He played one of his games through appendicitis. He was determined to finish the game even with appendicitis. He then played all stars because his coach encouraged him and told him he was good and he should. He didn't think he was good enough but he played with encouragement from his coach. He puts his all in every sport he plays. His coaches tell me how good of an athlete and team player he is and is always positive on and off the field.
