What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreIt’s more than just a sport to her—it’s where she feels happy, confident, and completely herself. Watching her step onto that court, give it everything she has, and never give up makes me one incredibly proud mom. She loves the game, the competition, the teamwork, and every moment she gets to be out there doing what she loves most. Watching her grow as an athlete and as a person through basketball has been such a blessing. Keep chasing those dreams, keep working hard!
As her mom, I hope she sees in me the person who inspires her both on and off the court. Whether it’s early morning practices, pushing through tough losses, or celebrating hard-earned wins, I try to show her what dedication, resilience, and perseverance look like in everyday life. My goal is to be someone she can look up to—not just in basketball, but in how to face challenges and keep going no matter what.
The moment that makes me the proudest isn’t necessarily when my daughter wins—it’s watching how she handles both the wins and the losses. 🏀❤️ No matter the outcome, she shows me just how dedicated she is. When she wins, she celebrates with pride but stays hungry to keep improving. When she loses, she doesn’t give up or let it define her. She gets back up, works harder, learns from it, and comes back ready to give it her all again.
