He loves pushing himself to get better, competing alongside his teammates, and knowing that every player has a job to do. Whether it’s making a big play, encouraging a teammate, or just stepping onto the field on game day, football gives him a sense of pride and belonging. He loves the challenge, the brotherhood, and most of all, getting to play the game he loves.
On the field, Jaxen is inspired by his Dad, coaches, and teammates who push him to work harder, stay focused, and never give up. Off the field, his biggest inspiration is his family. He wants to make the people who believe in him proud and show his younger cousin that hard work, determination, and a good attitude can take you far.
My proudest moment wasn’t a touchdown or a win. It was watching Jaxen walk onto the field at a brand new school, unsure of where he would fit in, but determined to give it everything he had. As his mom, watching him push through the nerves, work hard, and find his place on a new team made my heart so proud. Football is allowing me to watch my little boy grow into a strong, determined young man right before my eyes.
