During his 8th grade year.It was his final year in middle school.He lead his team with a record of 12-1,almost undefeated.He was able to also finish the year with great grades which allowed for him to win the presidential award for grades along with student of the year for his athleticism. All the years of hard work and dedication paid off in a major way.It also helped push him when he became the only freshman on his jv basketball team going into his 9th grade year.
