As his mom, I love watching him lead by example—encouraging his teammates, staying disciplined, and showing respect on and off the field. Sports have taught him teamwork, perseverance, and responsibility, while giving him a place to inspire others and become the leader he is meant to be.
His dad inspires him most, both on and off the field. As a football coach, his dad teaches him the importance of leadership, discipline, hard work, and teamwork. Off the field, he inspires him by being a great man, a loving father, and someone who treats others with kindness and respect. He wants to grow into the same kind of leader and role model.
One of the moments that makes me proudest is watching him work hard for years and see that dedication pay off as a Junior Olympic finalist. The countless hours of practice, early mornings, sacrifices, and moments when he had to push through challenges made that achievement so special. More than the title, I’m proud of the determination, discipline, and character he showed along the way.
