What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreHe loves everything about the game. He loves the competition, teamwork, and feeling of being part of something bigger than himself. He enjoys challenging himself, improving his skills, making big plays, and especially loves playing defense. After coming back from his ACL surgery, basketball means even more to him because he knows how hard he worked to get back on the court.
When asked who inspires him the most, his reply was you (Mom). "Without my mom pushing me to be my best and teaching me to never give up I wouldn't be where I am today."
Watching him overcome his ACL surgery. After undergoing a complete ACL reconstruction, he worked tirelessly through recovery to return to the court stronger than ever. Despite the challenges, he never gave up on his goal of playing basketball again. His hard work and determination earned him a starting varsity position as a freshman, an accomplishment that makes me very proud.
