Join the CompetitionJayda lives for baseball, the competition, the challenge, and the chance to show that girls can compete at the highest level right alongside the boys. She loves being her team’s “secret weapon” on the mound, watching hitters struggle to catch up to her pitches. She practices relentlessly, taking on anything new, until she’s mastered it. Baseball isn’t just a sport to Jayda; it’s where she belongs, and she’s determined to be one of the best.
My biggest inspirations are my Mom and Coach Jay. They both push me to be my best, believe in me, and never let me see being a girl in a boys’ sport as a limitation. They’ve taught me to embrace every challenge, work through every obstacle, and keep pushing when things get tough. Because of them, I know I can compete, succeed, and prove that being a girl is never a reason to back down.
I’m proud of Jayda every time she steps on the field, but one moment stands out. Just two years ago, she switched from softball to baseball for a greater challenge. During regular tryouts, as players were grouped by skill, a coach noticed her among the boys and couldn’t believe how strong she was. He wanted her for Select, and hasn’t let her go since. Watching her earn her place and become one of our organization’s most respected players makes me incredibly proud.
