What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Jayden loves everything about baseball—the competition, the friendships, and the challenge of getting better every day. As a left-handed pitcher and hitter, he loves helping his team in any way he can, whether it’s taking the mound in a big moment or delivering at the plate. Baseball has taught him discipline, confidence, resilience, and that success comes from putting in the work when no one is watching.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Jayden is inspired by his family, especially his dad, who has taught him that talent can open doors, but hard work, discipline, humility, and character determine how far you go. He is also inspired by the great players he watches and studies, dreaming of one day competing at the highest level. Every practice, game, win, and setback motivates him to keep working toward that dream.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of my proudest moments is seeing Jayden earn the opportunity to represent at NTIS. It reflects the discipline he shows every day—waking up early to train, staying focused, and always wanting to improve. I’m most proud of the young man he is becoming: respectful to his coaches, teammates, and the game itself. He’s charismatic, builds friendships everywhere he goes, and competes with heart. His talent is special, but his character makes me proudest.
