What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreJaden loves competing and pushing himself to get better every time he steps on the court. He enjoys being part of a team, encouraging his teammates, and taking on new challenges. Basketball has taught him discipline, confidence, and how to stay focused even when things don’t go his way. More than anything, he just loves playing the game.
Jaden would probably say I’m his biggest inspiration. He’s always been a mama’s boy. He sees me balancing work, raising our family, and chasing my own goals, and I think it’s shown him the importance of working hard and not quitting when life gets difficult.
There isn’t just one moment. I’m proud every time Jaden steps on the court. Every game is another opportunity to watch him grow, compete, and represent himself well. One of my favorite moments is when someone asks, “Which one is yours?” because I get to proudly point to him and say, “That’s my son.”
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
