What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreWhat Jayden loves most about baseball is the dedication and passion that come with playing the sport. Baseball is about teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, and never giving up. Even when you lose, it doesn’t take away from the love you have for the game. Jayden loves being part of a team, working together, learning from every game, and continuing to play the sport he loves most.
Jayden is inspired on and off the field by Derek Jeter, Jazz Chisholm Jr., Roberto Clemente, and Javier Báez. He admires their sportsmanship, teamwork, dedication, and the way they lead their teams. Off the field, he is inspired by how they give back to their communities, especially by helping kids. They take time to meet fans, teach baseball, and encourage young players to follow their dreams.
One moment that made us especially proud was when Jayden broke his wrist but still showed up to support and play for his team. Despite being injured, he stayed dedicated and continued working hard. In one game, his team was down, and he hit an RBI double to tie the game. When moved to the outfield, he also made an amazing catch over his teammates and continued catching every ball that came his way.
