I love competing, improving my skills, and making memories with my teammates. Sports have shaped me into the person I am today.

What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreI love playing soccer and baseball because they allow me to compete, challenge myself, and continue improving my skills. My coaches push me to work hard, stay focused, and become a better athlete and person. I also love being part of a team, supporting my teammates, celebrating our accomplishments, and creating memories and friendships that I will always carry with me.
My family, especially my father and grandma, my teammates, and my coaches inspire me the most. My father introduced me to the sports I love and has always been there for me. My grandma does everything she can to help me follow my dreams. My teammates motivate me and never give up on one another, even when things get tough. My coaches push me to improve, stay focused, work hard, and become a better athlete and person both on and off the field.
One moment that makes me proudest is seeing how much I’ve improved since I started playing soccer and softball. Playing with boys can be challenging because I sometimes feel like I’ll be judged, but it has made me stronger and more confident. I’m proud that I keep pushing through challenges, learn from my mistakes, and never give up. Seeing my hard work pay off and knowing I’ve helped and supported my teammates, no matter the result, will always make me proud.
