Jaylyn doesn’t have a specific role model that she looks up to, she rather looks for inspiration in the environment around her. She watches those that are above her, her competitors, and her teammates, and she strives to be the best she can be.
I couldn’t have been more proud when Jaylyn attended tryouts for her first ever rep team and she said “I am going to be a Barrie Shark”. After three rounds of tryouts, her tryout number was selected for the team. She put her mind to something, she gave it her all, and she accomplished her goal. She continues to carry this mindset with her on her athletic journey.
