What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What I love most about basketball is the competition and the feeling I get when my team wins. I love making shots and knowing I helped my team put points on the board. Basketball pushes me to work harder and keep getting better. I’ve also made some of my best friends through basketball, kids who love the game and competing as much as I do. Being on the court with my teammates, competing and trying to win together is one of my favorite feelings.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Kobe Bryant inspires me because of his Mamba Mentality. He showed me that being great isn’t just about talent, it’s about how hard you work, staying focused, and never giving up when things get tough. I like how he was always trying to improve and pushed himself to be better every day. I try to bring that same mindset to basketball by working hard, learning from my mistakes, and always believing I can get better.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of the things that makes me proud is seeing how much passion he has for basketball and how he continues to push himself to improve, never letting size or a tough matchup determine how hard he competes. But what makes me even prouder is his sportsmanship. He plays hard and wants to win, but still shows respect to everyone, even to help another player from the other team. Watching him grow as both an athlete and a person makes me incredibly proud. :)
