What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreShe loves the excitement of competing, being part of a team, and getting to do what she loves with her friends. She especially enjoys working hard, learning new skills, and seeing herself improve. Most of all, she loves the feeling of being out there doing her best and making her family and teammates proud.
Her biggest inspiration is her family and her coaches. They encourage her to work hard, believe in herself, and never give up, even when things get tough. Her teammates also inspire her because they push each other to be better and remind her that being a great athlete is about teamwork and supporting one another. Off the field, she looks up to the people who lead by example and show her the importance of kindness, determination, and always giving your best.
Watching her continue to push through challenges and never giving up. Seeing the confidence she has gained, the way she encourages her teammates, and how proud she is of her accomplishments reminds me that all of her hard work is paying off. I’m most proud not just when she wins, but when she gets back up, works harder, and keeps going.
