Jenna

What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Jenna enjoys playing for the love of the game, but what she really loves is the rush of competition and the satisfaction it gives her to train hard and excel. Sports have taught her how to define success, set short and long-term goals, and take responsibility. She has a drive to win both personally and for the team and that’s what gives her the ultimate rush.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Behind every athlete is an inspiration that drives them to success. In Jenna’s case I believe she is driven by her own personal will and faith. She seems to thrive even harder when she has a coach who believes in her and pushes her to perform her best every time she steps in a classroom, on a field, on a court or on the track. Her adrenalin and competitive nature comes from a mindset that failure is not performing her personal best resulting in a loss even if it doesn’t show on a scoreboard.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Jenna faced a major set back in 2024 when she tore her meniscus in volleyball. Following surgery she took the set back with the same drive she brought every time she stepped on a field or court. Jenna met physical milestones to ensure her strongest comeback. She was persistent in her goals & broke personal records to include the State Championship title in the high jump, softball All American All Tournament MVP and had the fastest time in the 40 yard dash (5.01). I am very proud of my athlete.
