What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What he loves most about soccer is simply having fun and being part of a team. At 11, he is dedicated, hardworking, and always willing to help his teammates improve their moves. He’s often the first player on the field and the last one off. He is also a straight-A student who never allows autism to limit what he can accomplish. Soccer brings him joy, confidence, friendship, and the opportunity to be himself while doing something he truly loves.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Jeremiah really looks up to his soccer coach and is always telling everyone that he wants to be like him when he grows up.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Jeremiah is always helping his younger brothers improve their soccer skills. Even though they are more severely autistic and will probably never play. He always makes them feel like they are part of the game.
