Whether he’s on the basketball court or football field, he loves making plays, encouraging his teammates, and giving 100%. He’s happiest when he’s moving, learning something new, and having fun. Win or lose, he’s always ready to get back out there and play again.
Jesiah is inspired by the athletes and coaches around him who work hard, stay confident, and never give up. He watches, listens, and learns from others, then tries to apply it himself. He also has an amazing support system that reminds him to believe in himself, work hard, be a good teammate, and always lead with heart.
One of my proudest moments has been watching Jesiah play up against older and bigger kids without being intimidated. He doesn’t make excuses or shy away from a challenge. He steps onto the court or field believing he belongs there and gives everything he has. Seeing his confidence, determination, and courage at such a young age makes me incredibly proud.
