His parents and especially his mentor, his high school coach. Jesse was taught at a young age that if you want something, you work for it. His parents let him choose his path, even when others doubted him. Coach E came along and has truly been an inspiration from day one. Showing him daily that hard work pays off!
Jesse is a true leader, on and off the field. This past summer, he was given the opportunity to play with another team in which he knew nothing about. He stepped in and assumed a leadership role immediately. Watching him mentor younger players while earning their trust on and off the field was such an experience. This was a blended team consisting of rising 9th grade through 12th grade)
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
