What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What I love most about playing my sport is having fun, competing, and challenging myself to get better. I enjoy being around my teammates, working together, and trying to win. The competition makes it exciting because I always want to push myself and see what I can do.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My mom, Brooklynne Waller, and my dad, Marcus Waller, inspire me the most. My mom inspires me because of everything she has achieved, how hard she works, and how she always pushes me to do my best, especially in school. My dad inspires me because, even though I may not have been born to him, he has taught me so much that I can build on from what my mom has shown me. What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One moment that makes me the proudest is seeing how much he has grown as an athlete and how he continues to push himself, even when things get challenging. I’m proud of the times he has stepped up, competed with confidence, and refused to give up. Watching him work hard, improve, and learn from both his wins and losses reminds me that it’s not just about the sport; it’s about the young man he is becoming.
