What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What he loves most about playing is the excitement of competition, being part of a team, and the opportunity to continually improve. He enjoys challenging himself, learning from his teammates and coaches, and celebrating each other’s successes. Most of all, he loves the friendships and memories he’ve made through the sport.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

His mom inspires him the most, both on and off the court. Watching her battle cancer, face difficult treatments, and come through stronger has taught him the true meaning of courage, perseverance, and never giving up. She has shown him that even during the hardest moments, you can remain strong and keep moving forward. She is his biggest cheerleader, his greatest role model, and the person who inspires him to work hard, overcome challenges, and always give his best.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Hearing the crowd cheer his name is always a proud moment, but what makes me proudest is seeing the way he encourages his teammates to give their best, whether they are winning or losing. He understands that being a great athlete is not just about individual accomplishments, but about lifting others up and being a positive teammate. Watching him encourage, support, and believe in his team is a moment I will always be proud of.
