Joey is inspired by Coach G because he’s been with him from the very beginning of his sports journey, coaching him up and cheering him on the whole way. This has helped Joey become not only a better player, but a better person.
Joey has always had a high motor and a competitive spirit. We lost every single game our first season together. But Joey and his teammates bought into the process and stayed in the sport in spite of failure. Almost every kid stayed with us year after year and Joey led his teammates to multiple deep runs in the playoffs for consecutive seasons. I’m extremely proud to see dedication like his at such a young age and am looking forward to see where his sports journey takes him.
