Join the CompetitionIt’s hard to pick one thing I love most about hockey. I love the game, my teammates, the atmosphere, the competition, and all the opportunities hockey has given me. But most of all, I love the person hockey is helping me become. It has taught me to work hard, handle challenges, be a good teammate, and never give up.
God and my faith inspire me the most. I want to honor Jesus with my life, both on and off the ice. My faith reminds me that hockey is a gift God has given me, and I want to use that gift to glorify Him. Whether I win or lose, I want the way I play, compete, and treat others to reflect my faith.
The moment I am most proud of is winning the 12U CAHA Role Model of the Year Award. This meant more to me than winning a game, scoring a hat trick, or earning a playmaker because it recognized more than just points on the scoreboard. It represented teamwork, attitude, sportsmanship, and the way I carried myself both on and off the ice. I was proud to be recognized not only for the kind of hockey player I was, but also for the kind of teammate and person I tried to be.
