Johnny's is inspired by the spirit of his Dad who played football and basketball when he was young like him. He puts extra effort in these sports because his Dad passed away 3 years ago and he wants to go the distance and make his Dad proud. Johnny is also inspired by his Mom! She continues to encourage him to do his very best, know that he did his best and that cannot be taken from him.
The proudest moment was when Johnny was hit really hard at a football game and instead of giving up like his other teammates as well as me wanting to pull him out because he was really shaken up, he got up shook it off and said "Im ok Mommy, I can do this and he was only 8 then. Since then he has learned more and grown which also makes me proud because he is determined on his own, no one is making him do this.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
