Horses are a form of therapy and she started riding at 3 and never stopped. She loves the partnership she has with her 1300 pound team mates and the bond she shares with them doing something they both love. She enjoys the crowd and the people she meets along the way.
She has always admired Fallon Taylor since she was little. She made her first NFR debut when she was 13 years old (which they don't allow anymore), she also advocates and helps the youth and my daughter has met her 3 different times. As far as who she runs with she has a ton of people she has grown up watching that she has always aspired to be like. She would say her mom inspires her as I ama single mom and I manage to haul her up and down the road and keep her mounted with the best.
As her mom I suffered respiratory failure and a heart issue and ended up in the ICU in Georgia during a Bill Pickett Rodeo, she was 12 at the time and it was just me and her on the road. She cowgirled up and took care of her horses, was responsible for the dogs we had with us, and she ran and won the junior division of the barrel races. It takes a lot to be by yourself and still be resilient enough to do your job while your mom is in ICU.
