What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Jordyn loves that softball always gives her another opportunity to grow. Whether she's at first base, pitching, playing third, or working at home, she is constantly asking, “What can I do to get better?” She loves the competition, the challenge, and being part of a team. Her dream is to play college softball, and she understands that dreams require work. For Jordyn, the extra swings, pitches, drills, and hours aren't a chore, they're part of doing what she loves.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Jordyn's biggest inspiration is her dad. He takes her to practices, supports her goals, and is always there when she wants to put in extra work. He even set up a hitting net and pitching machine in our shop, where the two of them spend countless hours practicing. His presence gives Jordyn confidence and pushes her to keep going. She also loves watching college softball, especially NiJaree Canady and Kaelee Washington, because they show her what is possible.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

My proudest moments aren't defined by one hit, strikeout, or win. They're the ordinary days when no one is watching and Jordyn still asks to practice. At 14, she already understands that becoming the player she dreams of being takes more than talent. She chooses the extra swings, extra pitches, and extra drills, while still encouraging her teammates to be their best. Watching her work for a dream that means so much to her makes me incredibly proud to be her mom.
