What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreMy son loves everything about the sport. He loves learning new techniques, to meeting new teammates and players from the other teams. He watches pros constantly and can tell you random facts about players from all teams. He also wrestles on football off season to help him keep his stigma up for football.
My son was inspired by football since before he can walk. His older cousin was in football and we went to every game to watch him and as soon as my son was able to sign up .. he’s been hooked ever since . He is very inspired by many professional. His favorite team is the eagles but has many different players from other teams that he consistently talks about and tries to replicate their plays.
It’s so hard to pick just one moment. He makes me proud every day at every practice/game . He puts whole heart and soul into football. One moment that sticks out to me is when he wanted to cry and give up in the worst way during practice… but he didn’t give up and kept giving it his all. His exact words where “ mommy , if I wanna make it to the pros I have to suck up the tears and keep pushing myself “
