What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What he loves most about basketball is competing with others. He loves playing with his teammates, his teammates are family to him, and basketball is his passion. He loves to compete against the best.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

His grandparents inspire him to be great on the court and in the classroom. He sees how hard they have worked all their lives and how much the love him.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

My proudest moment was when he made a costly mistake in a championship game to go down by one. He kept his composure then executed a pivotal play to score and win the game. This victory got us a spot in a national tournament that we went to and won. He played his best game in that championship game.
