What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What Joey loves most about playing football is the relationships he has built along the way. Over the years, his coaches and teammates have become more than just people he shares the field with, they’ve become mentors, brothers, and lifelong friends. He values the bonds created through hard work, sacrifice, challenges, and victories, knowing those relationships will last far beyond the game of football.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My family inspires me most, both on and off the field. They have always supported me, sacrificed for me, and taught me the importance of discipline, hard work, and perseverance. I want to make them proud by how I compete, carry myself, and handle my responsibilities. Everything I do on the field and in the classroom is bigger than me, it’s my way of honoring them and showing how grateful I am for everything they’ve done for me.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

My proudest moment has been watching Joey persevere through injury and come back stronger, not just as an athlete, but as a young man of God. Through adversity, his faith deepened, his character grew, and he became a stronger leader for his teammates. Seeing him trust God, refuse to give up, and lead with humility, strength, and purpose makes me prouder than any accomplishment or stat on the field.
