What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreHe loves the challenge of competing and the opportunity to push himself to become better. Whether it’s soccer, basketball, track & field, or lacrosse, each sport allows him to use different skills and grow as an athlete. He loves being a part of a team, encouraging his teammates and seeing hard work pay off. Most of all, he simply loves to compete and have fun doing what he loves .
His grandfathers are his greatest inspirations . They have been a constant source of encouragement, support, and wisdom throughout his athletic journey. They remind him that success isn’t only about medals or wins-it’s about discipline, character, hard work and how you carry yourself when things don’t go your way . Their bond motivates him to keep working and striving for excellence.
Becoming a 10-time All American makes me incredibly proud, but I’m proudest of the work behind those accomplishments. I’ve watched him experience wins, losses, personal bests, disappointments, and setbacks and continue working. He studies his events , practices to improve and comes back determined to be better. Watching that resilience while competing in four sports and maintaining a a 3.8+GPA makes me proudest.
